Ben approaches his work with a photojournalistic approach. He believes the best images are or capturing moments, not poses. He wants his clients to look back on his photographs and have it evoke emotions they felt from that day. With that said, Ben believes that weddings cannot be purely documentary and that we could all use a little direction when it comes to portrait sessions.

He has the skills to both guide couples at their wedding to look and feel comfortable for posed moments, and also capture the candid ones.
