A Note from our Founder
As the founder of Coastal Wedding, and living on the Central Coast of California, I recognized that it offers an abundance of natural beauty that provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding. From the ocean to the towering redwoods, unique venues can be found up and down the Coast of California.
I also discovered that many of the vendors are small business that give the couple the attention they deserve, while planning one of life’s biggest events. To my surprise there was no real meaningful way to find these many businesses in one place. Being a publisher this small but mighty team came up with the guide to getting married on the Coast of California. While our primary focus is Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur, and San Francisco, we are looking to inspire brides throughout the entire state.
It started with a magazine and as demand continued, and our presence grew we built a website over 25 years ago that services Brides and Grooms wanting to tie the knot on the Central Coast. The website continues to evolve offering more meaningful information and insight on our vendors and venues and what they have to offer. We love hearing about the many successful weddings and its so fun to feature our real weddings in Coastal Wedding! As brides and grooms change their search for gathering information and planning their wedding we have adapted to that demand.
We love our vendors and venues, and how they too continue to grow and evolve in the wedding industry. Coastal Wedding continues to grow with our vendors and connect them with Brides and Grooms to help with the planning process for an amazing wedding.
