The Inn at Pasatiempo

A Santa Cruz tradition for over 60 years, the Inn at Pasatiempo has recently undergone a marvelous makeover. Now featuring a beautiful ceremony garden, encircled by a gently sloping terrace and dressed with redwood bark, native grasses, and evergreen pear saplings. Couples exchange vows beneath a pergola topped with white sails, sheltered by a woodsy backdrop of acacia and willow trees.

Banquet and catering facilities are provided by our onsite restaurant and include a variety of menu options. Onsite guest rooms have been recently renovated with modern comfort in mind. Vaulted ceilings, warm earth tones and nature-themed décor whisper of an upscale mountain lodge. Discounted room rates are available for overnight wedding guests.

CEREMONY SPACE

Ceremonies take place in the Wedding Garden on the lush lawn surrounded by the flower filled gardens with a dramatic entrance for the bride to enter for the ceremony. Café string lights and fairy lights on tree trunks subtly light the space for evening enjoyment. There are a variety of areas around the Garden for photographers to get the perfect shot of you.

RECEPTION SPACE

The wedding reception and meal service are held inside the historic banquet space, an iconic Santa Cruz space to celebrate. Our experienced and professional staff will be on hand to facilitate the perfect event. The banquet space is also a unique place for a Rehearsal Dinner, a great beginning to your wedding festivities. Locals and visitors alike have been flocking to this space for years to host various special events and corporate retreats.

RESTAURANT

The Back Nine Grill & Bar at the Inn offers a varied menu, moderately priced, featuring Classic American Cuisine. The cozy atmosphere paired with array of comfort food is a local’s favorite year round. In the summer you can dine outdoors and in the cooler months you can dine inside by the fire with a glass of your favorite beverage from our full bar which has an extensive local wine list. Reservations are encouraged, groups and after parties can be accommodated with prior notice.

Inn at Pasatiempo has a variety of lodging options: Deluxe Rooms, Garden Rooms, Deluxe Suites and ADA. Relax as you enter a rustic elegance with wood beamed vaulted ceilings, custom furniture and new contemporary furnishings. There are rooms for romantic getaways as well as the family vacations. All rooms have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee station, air conditioning, free parking and access to our heated pool. Coffee and pastries served in the morning.
